Robot Aliens, Huge Lips, and Fans

Guess what you people out there!? It's update time. Just like last time I'll go ahead and start with a couple of movie reviews.

Transformers: Rise of the Fallen

Well I recently have seen this movie. We all went for my brother Eric's birthday. Quick shout out, happy birthday Eric. Well the movie was quite entertaining. There was all kinds of action going on. But this time, both Bumble Bee and Optimus showed exactly why they are two of the Autobots most feared fighters. They were awesome. The movie lack some of the emotional connections it had established in the previous installment. Deciding to instead focus more on the relationship between the two main human protagonist, Sam and Mikaela. His relationship with his family is played a bit more up here as well, leading to laughs and some cringing. This bond ultimately leads up to one fine scene between Sam and his father during the climactic battle. The 150 minute running leaves your body acking after the movie, and the long road up to the actual story of the movie might feel long, but once the film finds it's place it, it turns into one pretty good sequel. Oh and for those without that teenage humor, be weary of the numerous jokes regarding the male's "junk," although I laughed others might get tired of the jokes. Have fun with this one, that's what it's ment for.

Oh and is it me, or is Megan Fox's lips like abnormally big? Way more so than the first Transformers?

Fanboys

Fanboy Kyle Newman directs this feature about a group of Star Wars fans as the journey towards skywalker ranch to hopefully view Episode 1 Phantom Menace before it's release. This film was very enjoyable. As a pretty big fan of the wars myself, I enjoyed all the little momentos to the movies. Including appearances by some the legendary actors from the star wars films, and some appearances by other big names too. The story did have a serious aspect that was intellegently did not take or bring down the humor of the film. I would have to agree with my fellow watcher, John, that there was times when I felt like this could be high on my movie preference list. Although it didn't quite reach that, it was very damn good. I recommend it to anyone with some knowledge of the star wars universe. It even gives you chances to play trivia while the gang themselves are tested with multiple questions. This movie even made me feel more like I could like one Kristen Bell, as she plays only girl in the group. And guys will absolutely love her at the end of the film in the last set of scenes. Oh yes. Well go get it and watch it. It's very enjoyable.

About Me Time

well that's it for the reviewers, now onto updating what's up with me. Well since the last post some things have started to cook up. I'll be leaving for Mexico next week, exciting stuff. I have been added as the boom operator to an independent film being shot in ft. Worth. That's definitely something I'm looking forward too. It's gonna feel good to be back on a set. Othe news, I'm really going to start working on my drawing again. I need to get better skills if I'm going to have a chance to get into joe's school in New Jersey. Well I am still on the job hunt but I am actually enjoying my time right now. I'm learning to enjoy things more and not hold on to some unhealthy anger or negativity. Not too much on thoughts today, just a review and what's new with my living stuff! Alright fans, enjoy the read and tune in next time!

Waxy Movies, Ballons, and thoughts

Well here is a first real entry in a long time. First off I'll start with some movies i've seen.

- Up:
Fantastic little movie. I really enjoyed it. Ashley and I went to see it at the movie tavern. Food was pretty good, but the movie surely was something different. Pixars movies now a days have started to progress more towards a growing, or an adult, audience. With Wall E showing much signs of maturity and showing that great movies with great themes can exist in the animation world, Up dives into the adult themed death and living an adventure likes it's your last one. Not to spoil anything, but it is very enjoyable, and yes the kids will still love the look of the film, certain characters, and not to mention the ballons! Oh, and just can't help to like watching a movie in 3D.

- Waxwork II:
The second film in this two filmed franchise surely does diverse a smidge from the its predecessor. With less horrific/ creepy feels, but even more enjoyable goofs, this film stands on its own (apart from the first.) Although I think if the plot was told to you sooner, rather than finding out towards the end of the flick, then I think I would have enjoyed it a little more. But still, it is nice to see Zack Galligan back to his hero ways (like in Gremlins) rather than the stuck up, contradicting man he started out the be on the first Waxwork. (Just to clear things up though, I LOVED the first one.) This is still a good, cozy, 80's style even though it was made in the early 90's campy horror film. Enjoy it, I know I have.

Now that the movie reviews are out of the way, let's move on to the about me section.

Well a lot has changed since my last post. I have graduated from North Texas, stranded without a job, but still fresh on the hunt, and I am currently in Houston visiting Ashley. Well that wasn't too much I guess. Still, life sure is interesting. I did come to a realization not to long ago though. And that realization is that yes, life is short. I know, we here it all the time, we think we understand how death works when we are younger. Hell, we think we know everything when we are younger. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. We hardly know anything. And the people we should be learning from, we have already spent to much time showing and telling them that we know more than they do, and now they are exhasted from us. I am speaking of those loveable parents or gaurdians or teachers we have. Well, back to what I was saying, yes life is short. and after that???? After that short life? Then what? Well that is a mystery all on it's own isn't it. But we shouldn't dwell on that, the truth is we will never know, at least in this modern age we won't. So there is no point spending time on worrying about what's coming next, or when is my time up, or why does life have to pass by so fast, or why can't I ever slow down time the way it use to when I was dying to get out of that long lab in class? We should just enjoy it, go out there and live. Or stay in here and live, as long as you enjoy what you do and you are not harming anyone and maybe even bringing some much needed peace to the world. That's really all that counts. Well this has been fun. I hope all my readers out there in xanga land, or even all of internet land, enjoyed it. Until next time my marvelous friends, keep on rocking!

- Rewrite

oh this internet class is killing me, since i dont have a set time.....i just never seem to get around to doing anything in that class. AND it got closed for one week due to problems occuring. oh well, do what i gotta do.

so i heard this quote, "Even in the darkest of suffering, a man can sleep. But for the man that inflicts the suffering....his mind cannot rest....ever." interesting stuff eh? i thought it was a good quote, and it made me feel bad for the soldiers fighting, cause if they are inflicting suffering, (even if Bush says its to elimate a dear threat), than they are going to go through some hard times later, even now.

Im finally taken....by the best girlfriend in existance. I LOVE YOU BABY!!!

Well, I'm tired. I dont want to do anything today but i shall. damn test and then an online test AND an online quiz, plus 2 project type things due for that online class. oh brother.......OH! and Lucy needs to stop pulling that football away when Charlie Brown goes to kick it, just once let the boy connect!
